Meet Puma and Petunia!
Once a year a grand celebration takes place for all those who truly wish to embrace Life, Frody Fest (a celebration of the complete cycle of Life, which includes Death). Often fantastic feline synchronicities are experienced during this time period, typical of magically intentioned events.
This year a mama cat arrived with four kittens to a neighboring house from where the events of Frody Fest take place.
The person this mama cat (above right and whom we have named Petunia for her petite size) arrived to was only a house guest of the owner. When the owner arrived she decided she needed to adopt out the kittens. Mama and this little one we are calling "Puma" (above right) were kept. It has since been realized that due to traveling schedules and some other factors, it is not feasible for the house owner to keep cats, especially a kitten who needs parental care.
Puma or Pumito is adorable and sweet. He is somewhere between 8-10 weeks old even though he is almost half the size of his petite mother already. He is filled with the precious playful energy that cat lovers love kittens for. He climbs trees and is enamored with almost everything.
His mother, Petunia, is an elegant being. For a ferral cat, she loves affection. For as petite as she is, she does know how to hunt and she can ward off some predators. We have seen her fight off one of the members of a family of foxes that lives nearby to protect little Puma.
These are jungle cats. Although Puma will need protection from predators until he gets a little older/ wiser, he nor his mother need a little box. All they need is a good home for shelter and someone who wants to give them food and some love (and ideally getting them fixed). Petunia may not be a lap cat but she gives a great pur as she weaves in and out of legs. She loves being pet. Puma has already shown that he likes some lap time. These two are very special.
Ideally I we would love to see them adopted out together, otherwise we are trying to just home little "Puma"
